Every Halloween, celebrities come out in all sorts of ways. Most costumes are sexy, others are clever, while some are right on the nose of popular trends. Although, last year, most people sat it out (because of COVID), this year people went out in droves. Now that things are starting to get back to normal, here are some of our favorite Halloween costumes this year.
Katy Perry + Orlando Bloom get the award for Best Couples Costume!
We especially love the costumes scattered through their carousel post on Instagram. They include some sort of military tank costume on a child, and a couple showing the difference between a filtered photo and an unfiltered photo on Instagram. We think the Instagram one is all kinds of clever!

She dressed up as rapper Gunna, and she was SPOT ON. Click through her Instagram carousel post and you'll see exactly what we mean!
The Weekend earns his Best Transformation Award!
He dressed as The Godfather, and we would never have guessed it was him. The only reason we can identify The Weekend is because it was posted on his Instagram account. It is absolutely uncanny!

And the award for the Prettiest Monster goes to Blackpink's Jennie!
She dressed up as one of the three monstrous Gorgons from Greek mythology, Medusa. She killed it!
Best Besties Costume goes to Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch!
They dressed up as the twosome from Scooby-Doo, Velma and Daphne. They look so good, they could be cast in the next movie!
Willow Smith dressed up as Tyler Durden from the cult classic film, Fight Club!
Kerry Washington dressed up twice!
Once as the main character from Squid Game.
She captioned her costume with this,

Timberlake is dressed as Professor Albus Dumbledore and Biel as Professor Minerva McGonagall. Their kids joined in too, one, Phineas, as the owl Hedwig, and the other, Silas, as Harry Potter. They posted a selfie and video on Instagram. It was simply captioned,

Trevor Noah dressed up as The Weekend!
But he must have felt like he could never live up to The Weekend, himself, so he captioned the photo,

The Uncanniest Monster Transformation goes to Ariana Grande!
We would have never guessed she was in there. But we have to admit, her costume is movie quality! It has us wondering who's her costume designer?!
